This rapid charger works on any phone that has a micro usb connection and it charges faster than normal. I tested this on my HTC EVO that has an extended battery. It normally takes around 3.5 to 4 hours to fully charge. With this rapid charger it fully charged in 2.5 hours. This makes a huge difference for me as I’m always killing my battery because I’m always on the phone or doing data through it.
The cord length for this is awesome. I believe it’s about 6 feet long. This is longer than most others that are around 3 feet. It allows you get a few of these to put around the house and you can plug it in behind things so that it is not seen. I also like the fact that the cord is thin. We have one of these in our living room and we were able to set the cord under a lamp base to keep it from falling off the table. The cord is so thin that it does not unsteady the lamp.
A few other things to mention about this. This is an OEM product. That stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. So it has no box. It’s just in a bag. But don’t let that scare you off. It’s a true Motorola factory made part. So the quality is good. It also seems to fluctuate in price. When I purchased this it was just over $4. Today when I looked it up again it was $6.75. I guess since I purchased 4 of them it caused the price to go up. This is one of the unique things about amazon. The prices of items auto change depending on sales volume. so something that is selling slowly will lower it’s price. A really hot item will make it all the way up to full retail. So if you are buying things in bulk get them all at the same time. Not one at a time or you may find the price changing on you before you have purchased all you are looking for.
